About Emanuel House

Emanuel House (EH) serves 150 children from 117 of the poorest families in Quisqueya, feeding them spiritually, physically, and emotionally. In addition to Bible study and education, children receive access to clean water, functioning bathrooms, and regular meals (breakfast, lunch, and snack)—which they may not have access to at home.

Emanuel House works with neurodiverse children—children with hearing loss, partial vision loss, physical disabilities, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and dyslexia— and provides training to the community to care well for this population. EH also holds Bible classes with children and their parents, and many families have become followers of Jesus.
